Expectation of client:

The company will require the client to:

1. Provide a named person or persons (not exceeding two) to be the primary contact(s) between the company and the client.

2. Provide access to the client website and any associated passwords where the company is not providing hosting services, or where the site is on a client intranet or server.

3. Provide all text for web pages and downloads, (including pictures & graphics) in a complete & timely manner. The company will not be held responsible for difficulties arising from delays where the client has provided source material which is incomplete and where as a consequence the company cannot meet a client deadline within the appropriate turnaround period.

4. Provide all text in Word or plain text format, and where possible all pictures and graphics in jpeg, psd, png or TIFF formats.

Intellectual Property Rights

All product will become the intellectual property of the client once full payment has been made. The company retains the right to create links to the finished website from its own website, and to place a small logo on at least one page of the client’s site with a link to the company site. Where work is undertaken on a pro-bono basis, intellectual property rights remain with Webdesignworks for a year from date of signing this agreement, or until the client enters a paid contractual agreement for maintenance, contract management, hosting or any other service.

Payment Terms

The company will expect the client to pay the appropriate fee within thirty days of completion. In some instances a deposit not exceeding 20% of the phase or contract total will be payable before work commences, or on agreement of the accompanying specification.

All costs will be detailed in the specification, and the client will receive a separate invoice/receipt.
