Last year we recieved over 1400 enquiries, interviewed 450 potential volunteers and

placed over 210 with a wide variety of organisations

We usually have between 350 and 450 volunteer opportunities registered with us

At The Volunteer Centre Waltham Forest (VCWF) we're passionate about helping people volunteer in our borough.

We believe that when people contribute their time and commitment freely they not only gain enormously themselves, they also enrich their local community and voluntary sector. We call this 'Give 2 Grow'

At the Centre we:

• work with local organisations and groups who involve volunteers in their activities
• encourage and support organisations to develop and use good practice and implement inclusion policies
• provide high quality services such as brokerage, consultancy and specialist support

Centre Opening Times

As of August 1st 2008 The Centre is open between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm Mondays to Thursdays, but NOT on Fridays

When travelling to see us it is usually best to ring first to verify that a member of staff will be available. This does not apply if you've already made an appointment.
Please note that the Centre is closed on public holidays.
